When JANE BARNES’ mother introduced her to flower arranging, she never thought it would lead to running her own success business from the family’s dairy farm in Somerby. Today, THE FLOWER BARN is an established and recognised name in the Midlands, having been trading since 1994.

Together with new partner, EMMA DAWSON, the business runs from a converted farm dairy in Jane’s farmhouse. Sharing a combined passion for flowers, the two women create incredible realistic designs using faux flowers and materials. Arrangements are “Made to Last” not only do they serve a purpose but also look so realistic it’s hard convincing your mind they’re not real.

“Caring for our customers is paramount, whether it’s meeting brides to discuss bridal flowers or meeting retailers”, Jane and Emma give everyone that extra special personal touch to their designs.

Since the advent of the internet, Jane & Emma can now combine family life with running the business. THE FLOWER BARN has had a presence on the net in many forms. However, 2010 sees the new look, feel and design of a wonderful NEW website which sees faux flowers flying off to all parts of the world. Whether it’s Scottish Thistles to Alaska or Lillies to Austrialia, Jane and Emma have the flowers to send from the touch of your keyboard.
